Myo
“My journey into photography began unexpectedly with a simple flip phone in my native Brooklyn. Growing up in NYC and spending nearly two decades in the film and television industry, much of it as a Camera Assistant, provided an incredible backdrop to hone my eye for visual storytelling. Being the son of the esteemed artist Leroy Campbell, a creative path felt almost destined, though I chose to ‘draw with light’ instead of paint. Now based in Aberdeen-Matawan, NJ, I specialize in fine art and portrait photography, aiming to capture more than just an image – I seek to reveal the beauty I see in my subjects and the world around us. Having worked with musicians and featured in publications like The New York Times, my passion lies in creating authentic connections and timeless pieces that resonate deeply. My ultimate purpose is to create work that you’ll cherish and want to invite into your most personal spaces, all while glorifying God through this visual medium. When you work with me, expect a collaborative and heartfelt experience focused on capturing your unique story.”
